At no time was the prophet Mohamed (pubh)portrayed by the Danish cartoonists as a child molester or as a demon. At no time was he portrayed as a pig. At no time was he portrayed as being sodomized by a dog. These incidents were not portrayed in Danish papers. There were characterizations of men dressed in turbans. They could have just as well have been Hindis or Sikhs...ANY MAN...NOT NECESSASARILY THE PROPHET (pubh). The Muslim clerics with malice of forethought, with intent to create tension throughout the world, to create an atmosphere of war, using deceit (as Mohamed (pubh) instructs his followers to do in the Quran to do)so as to create problems where none existed. Then you have the audacity to claim that your religion is great? That you and your faith have been insulted? Where do you get off? Every Muslim is deluded. Your prophet is a liar and a charlatan. First you’re asked to imagine someone telling you that you must abandon your principles, and you say the guy's religion is not real (irrelevant answer #1). You Muslims ask from Westerners to abandon their principle because it offends you. The author says, by analogy, you Muslims have some principles, such as to build towers (minarets) to your mosques and to cover up your women. How would you feel if the believers of another religion told you that they’re offended by your principles? You ask Westerners to stop ridiculing authority because you feel offended, but similarly the author is asking you to stop building tall towers because his religious feelings are offended.
